This powerpoint presentation was given at a workshop on capacity building run around Australia in November 2005. The workshops were sposored by the Cooperative Venture in Human Capcity Building and the Australasian Pacific Extension Network. It reported on a number of projects funded by the CV and undertaken by Coutts J&R with Roberts Research - as well as work undertaken by the Rural Enablers.

This paper was written for an invited presentation at the NSW DPI and Beef CRC Conference “Moving from Research to Adoption” Quality Nautilus Resort, Coffs Harbour NSW 3-5th May 2005. It includes a modified Bennett’s log frame to help in framing an evaluation and draws on some practical examples of how to collect and collate relevant data.
